Re: Resolume 7.2.0 Released! Clip Renderer, Recording & Conversion Improvements, 2 New Effects

This is great, thank you! It's so much closer now to what got me transitioning from adobe to resolume for my effects bulk. I'm curious, anyone have suggestions on, when creating live blooms to coincide with beat accents, to minimize frame drops when recording out using record function? I'm assuming ...

Re: Resolume Record Function

"Frye?..."

That's cool, man. I think I may try and get the resolume rec out to function better by investigating my own set-up!

Re: Resolume Record Function

Thanks for that! You wouldn't happen to be aware of any capture software that would play nice with a win10 i7 32gb ram 8 core gtx880m notebook would you? I tried OBS, but when starting the output record, it says my drivers may not be updated. This is after I rigged my integrated graphics as the main...

Re: DXV3 Codec Question

I have to learn about decks, man. I need more education. Once again appreciate your thorough reply habit. Lots of enlightening info in those! I'll head over to the training tab. Incidentally, do you have any thoughts on this? It's a recent question I have. https://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=...

Resolume Record Function

I want to be clear on the record function, and know for sure if it is designed as a dedicated real time representation of the performance, or just a quick-on the fly-looping tool to reimport quick visual sketches back in to the main line. I had about 15 stacked videos with synched audio files in one...

Re: Record Out is all out of synch recently

UPDATE

I found that disabling the chromakey effect made the record out work fine.

Tried different clips with chroma applied and recorded out. No issues so far.

Odd.

Phew though.

Re: DXV3 Codec Question

That's another question I have. Aren't bigger files harder to manage in real time? I mean, these big files are working great for playback, I'm just curious in general.

DXV3 Codec Question

When I convert my mp4 files to the dxv3 mov file with no alpha, and of regular quality, the file sizes are frikin huge! Like a few gb per couple two three min clip. Is this normal? I thought the dxv3's were supposed to be smaller and more manageable for the resolume software. BTW, I cannot stress en...

Record Out is all out of synch recently

I'm performing with 23.98fps dxv3 files rendered out of Adobe Premiere. I'll have 2 clips loaded in a column stacked on each other with chroma and a background applied to chromakey areas, naturally. I record the performance (composition set to 60fps - not sure if this is right but runnig out of test...

Well, maybe their cat died, who knows? But good to know there are genuinely engaged people still left on the internet. Haha, rock on, my man!
