Re: End of clip before next clip

MaxMSP works on windows 10. Some people seems happy with it, I also read older post with issues. Is this the reason why you're recommending going on mac or another software on PC ?

Re: End of clip before next clip

Hi !

I think going to the MaxMSP route could be the only option. I think Arena can send the position of the clip via OSC, so when it's really near of 1.0f and that it got triggered via midi, it could send an OSC command to load the next clip. Is this a good idea ?

Re: End of clip before next clip

Thank you for your fast response ! I forgot to mention a few details. - Some of the clips are looped. - The order of the clips are not predefined. It can change anytime. What I need is to loop indefinitely a clip... then when I call a new clip via midi, it wait until the end of the loop of the curre...

End of clip before next clip

Hi !

I would like to know if there's anyway that when I select a new clip (via MIDI), Arena wait until the end of the current clip before going to the selected clip ?

I played with the "demo" version and this is something I was wondering before making my purchase.

Thank you !

Face replacement in video plugin

Hi ! I used to work with Adobe Premiere & AfterEffects in many projects. It's funny now how there's consumer apps to make anything you want (like replace faces in a video, or add glass/hat/etc...). I would like to find some plugins (that would be supported by Resolume) that would do that kind of...

Face detection (crazy idea)

Hi ! I may have a crazy idea, but would it be possible (with a plugins) to be able to track faces in videos and be able to "replace" them with a photo (with transparency layer) ? My other crazy idea, and I guess that would require some (a lot) of processing, is it would be crazy if we coul...

Re: New build, GPU choice

Nvidia gaming cards usually have up to 4 outputs. Finally, my setup will be 1x GTX 1060 6 GB with 2x Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital SE. I know I would have loved 2x Datapath x4, but it's 5x the cost of the Matrox. I will power the Matrox with an external USB PSU since the software seems to be crap, an...

Re: New build, GPU choice

I hope I didn't sound rude. But I think it's worth taking some time to read how PCI-E lanes works. In our case, Z270 may have an advantage over the X99. But I would be very curious to see 2 machines side-by-side, with similar specs, starting with a machine with only 1 GPU, then adding PCI-E cards/m....

Re: New build, GPU choice

First, Z170 and Z270 are not laptop chipset. Second, Z170, Z270 AND X99 chipsets are considered "performance desktop chipset". X99 is not more "professionnal" than the Z170/270. It's not a Xeon server-class chipset. Third, I will let that picture from Intel speak by itself. Intel...
