Re: Outputting video to LED strips

if you've got enough data to warrant it, the enttec pixelator mini and PLinks (takes up to 16 universes of data) would take in Artnet straight out of your computer and do any other conversion internally.

Re: midi controller for multiple programs at once?

I also use enttec playback wing. I love the cherry mx keys and build quality. the price is great too. although it is just midi values so I suppose they couldn't charge too much!

Re: Lumiverse output on ENTTEC DMX USB PRO Mk2

Agree with Joris, the fixtures won't know how you came out of your pc. Signal will be dmx by then. I've used this ENTTEC node and found it simple, reliable and cheap. I hear the new versions come with inbuilt web servers in them too so you can configure protocol and directionality with any browser. ...

Re: Enttec Open DMX USB (?)

Dont ever get the open dmx. it has no optical isolation (so if there is a slight surge in power your rs485 chip will burn up) and cannot regulate timing of packages being sent out. The dmxusb pro might be an extra 55quid but its worth it. You'll only end up buying one when you accidentally fry the o...
