using two videocards actualy works best! and the pci one does not even have to be supa-dupa-fast-one if you run the main interface of resolume on it and not the (fullscreen) output window. The card running the output window is doing all the work. You can have a 800x600 tv out for the output window! ...

there are some scan-converters available that can zoom in on a 1024x768 image to 320x240 (the size if the video in the resolume interface) ... what notebook do you have? most notebooks support dual-monitor!

Resolume does not play the audio of a video now so you will not be able to that ... at the moment there is no vj-software available that can do the things you ask for ... there are vj-softwarez available that can play audio though but they all lack the precision in speed control to do beat-matching ...

divX is great to share your files because you get very small file sizes ... but absolutely not usable for fast playback so don't use it to playback in Resolume ...
