Custom colour setting for labels

Hi 👋 all, I find the label colours can be a bit subtle, does anyone else find this? The actual colours other layers and clips are much duller then the colours you select, see image bellow I can understand why some people would want muted colours so as not to distract from their vjing composition, bu...

Wire - compile to stand alone?

I am building a video synth, that I am building in a game engine, I am building prototype in wire and resolume as I workout the functionally. I was wondering if there might be a possibility down the track to compile wire patch as a stand alone application? Or if it might be possible to one day to wr...

Colour space projection correction ?

Hi, I've roughly put together a bit of long weird hacky way of trying to match colour space for this large scale 360⁰ dome I'm vjing in (wonderdome.com.au) using black magic camera, resolve and color rite card. I have also discussed making an effect ether wire of free-frame with some people on the p...

Blast from the past resolume 2.41 and V4

Hi all, A film maker called Nic Vevers made a doco about the nightclub I started my VJ career in, some footage of old 2.41 or even version 1 of resolume. Not sure but I must admit all the footage of the screen and remembering it was mostly 320x480, which is a good reminder that resolution doesn't re...

Re: 360 Dome VJing

Zoltán, Thanks for that, it looks like a gold software, I have a tech taking care of projectors, But I actually think it would feel better if set up the mapping with something like this software so I know the vibe of the pixels. BTW, after our chat over email, I have been trying to throw myself into...

Re: Alley Codec

Arvol, I have been there many a time even before there was a DXV codec, I know your pain. Actually thinking about it makes my current life seem better not data wrangling for a festival, lol good luck :) I am in 100% agreement with you, but the more points that are made to support why bring in H.264 ...

Re: Alley Codec

I am just here to update and agree, it means that you could run your full production from resolme, because these days, I feel your not handing off content to video people who are going edit, more and more stuff is being prepped for Web, and if you can hand off a h.264, which is codec most webstuff s...

360 Dome VJing

Has anyone got experience using Dome Master format or any 360 Dome projection experience? If so are there any suggested resources? Would people be interested if I documented process of setting up Resolume to VJ in 360? The dome I have got residency Vjing on isn't going to be built till November, wha...
