Re: R6 completely freezes when changing decks

If you'd like us to think with you on what the problem could be, a good place to start is getting a stack trace and sending it to mail@resolume.com

Re: Audio In from Capture Cards

As with all things, the problem is not so much the technical difficulty, but rather deciding that it is more important than the literally 1000s of other things our user base is asking for. This is clearly an amazing feature for corporate settings and I can see this being useful in art environments a...

Re: Bluetooth Midi

Really depends on what you're asking exactly. There are certain MIDI controllers that can connect via Bluetooth. They are specifically made for this and as far as setup goes, they are just recognised as standard MIDI controllers by your computer. Also, there are MIDI over Bluetooth adapters, but aga...

Re: save preset

Yes, I understand your point.

There's quite a few people that do not share your experience and once saved, expect the preset to update wherever it is used. So we purposefully choose not to show the preset name to make it clear that there is no relation between preset and instance.

Re: Only one clip from each group

If it's really a one to one visualisation of the frets, you can use a combination of piano mode triggering and free layer target. The layer target respects the group it's in, so it won't mix the bass and guitar content. If you really only want to allow one clip at a time for each group, you'll have ...

Re: Simulation max Load for Rig without Hardware

Resolume is smart enough to not render virtual outs if they're not actually being sent anywhere. So the best way to do load testing is always to have the physical outs connected. One way to trick the system is to add a second virtual out and then route the original out into this virtual out . This w...

Re: DMX map blendmodes

I see your point, but that workflow still means you have to update your personality when we add a blend mode called Abracadabra.

The main issue is that the fixed personality paradigm does not hold up for a software that is being actively maintained and highly customisable.

Re: APC mini - Shift & Preview

Unfortunately, the Shift button on the APC series does not actually change the MIDI messages that are being sent out. It just has the word Shift printed next to it, but doesn't actually shift anything. Unless you program your own logic in your own application, that button is just another regular but...

Support for higher bit depths in DXV is not on our roadmap.

Re: save preset

This is a common misconception. In Resolume, an effect preset is not "active". When you apply a preset, it creates a separate instance of the effect. Changing the values of an existing instance does not affect the preset and changing the values of the preset does not affect any existing in...
