Hello, I'm working on a project with only decklink inputs on 25 decks. Every deck has 3 to 15 cells with 2 different sdi in (decklink quad) When i switch between decks sometime it'istantaneous and sometime it takes 3-5 seconds while the interface is unresponsive. It's a random behaviour.... Any clue...

we really REALLY think it's a bad idea to VJ with it I agree with you but Arena is not only a VJ tool.... I'm not a VJ but I use Arena all the time as Media Server for concerts (bye bye Pandora.. :-) ). I transcode all my material in DXV3 since is very high quality and GPU accelerated, but sometime...

I'm playing with NDI and VMix and this technology is amazing!!
Latency is near 0 with a very high quality.
My dream would be to use VMix as switcher on a PC and send signals to Arena PC via Ethernet, this would be a very powerful but cheap setup!!

ONLY it occurs in OSX. On WINDOWS Resolume works correclty. Sadly this happens on OSX even with Decklink Quad (the 4 inputs one). It's not a Resolume problem, it's a known bug at driver/OS level, you will notice the same behaviour in BM capture software too..... That's why I use only Windows for Li...
