+1 Collapse or minimize layers would be fantastic, you don't really need to see the entire contents of a group during playback. Visually it would be much nicer if you could collapse/expand layers that you don't need to see. Folders behaving like groups in photoshop or a shy layers in After Effects.
You can set Hue/Sat for your output in the Nvidia control panel, that's probably the easiest workaround that's not going to effect your composition preview. -if on Nvidia that is.
Thanks for explanation, I'll try to capture an example for you. I haven't isolated exactly what causes it yet but I've only noticed it while running at 50Hz, it's not like a stutter from disk access or low fps but a regular cycle pause that breaks smooth motion. I'll look into it more.

Invert RGB effect before the Auto Mask is what I currently do. Just seems a little redundant having the invert feature on the Auto Mask with it's current behavior. I would say put it in as a feature request.
