Re: Smoothing clock from Ableton Live to Resolume 3

On a slight side note.....I don't use AV clips in Resolume so the internal audio sync is not an issue for me. But there is a gradual tempo drift occurring when clocking from Live over the IAC bus. I have been using a "sync" clip in Live on a 2 bar cycle to regularly trigger Resolume's resy...

Re: Changing Location of a Composition's clips

Thanks guys.....it's a shame that Res doesn't have some sort of project handling system like Live....

Re: BUG.Resetting X rotation in layer 1 from dashboard link.....

I have 4 layers and 6 columns in my deck. The clip is running in column 2 of layer 1 and is set to bpm sync at 4 beats (sync at 124BPM). The layer 1 X Rotation is set to BPM sync at 4 beats. All sync and clip triggers coming from Ableton Live 8.03. With just this one clip playing, if I then try to c...

broken white edges on output

Now that I have started projecting with Resolume, I am noticing broken white edges on the output with clips with black/dark frame edges when set to full screen, usually on the top and right. This also happens with full screen on my 23" Apple Cinema Display. Any ideas?

Thanks

Changing Location of a Composition's clips

Is there any way to do this? I have been prepping my compositions with my clips running from my large studio drive and would like to now run them from my mini portable raid.

Thanks

Re: Midi value resolves to 0 degrees?

Thanks..but can you explain how exactly that will that work? It's the midi resolution that is the problem.....with 127 steps the midway point, which Res interprets as centred or zeroed, is 63.5....and doesn't exist, no matter how it is translated. Am I missing something?

Re: Ableton Live/Res Toggle FX problem

Ok so I'm using a workaround with mapping the opacity sliders for all effects. Shame, because I can't toggle them on an off and have to program an envelope with a specific on/off duration. But at least it means I can "soft" record my av sets into Ableton and then tweak them before renderin...

Midi value resolves to 0 degrees?

Is it possible to have the 0 degree (i.e centred) value of the rotation parameters forced to correspond to a midi value of 63 or 64?

I'm firing off rotations via midi envelopes in Live and it's not possible to return the rotation to zero. It's out by 1.42 degrees.

I know...I'm a virgo.....

Thanks
