Re: Getting Creative with Xbox Kinect

Bumping this up, it's been a year.

Would really like to know more about importing a layer into Resolume with a Kinect.
I was thinking inferred camera readings could at least get me some visual representation.

Re: video to Touch Designer FFGL plugin available

wow, this is really cool

I'd love to check this out since I'm a Touch and Resolume user.
What's the latest on your findings?

Anyone using Emulator Pro with Resolume?

It's made my Smithson Martin:

I don't have a touch device but would love to hear good things about it first.

Re: Project 360 degrees onto a partial dome.

@goto10, yes I thought Arena should be able to work. I was successful when projecting onto a white umbrella but haven't tried on a 360 degree round wall. My question was do I need to run video through some post production morphing effect using an editing program or will Arena be able to do that well...

Project 360 degrees onto a partial dome.

Didn't want to say spherical because I don't want to project above viewer's heads. Tubular would be more accurate but their is a slight curve upward. Regardless, I'm wondering if Arena can morph the grid enough for good results. Will be using three projectors each casting 120 degrees from the center...

Re: help figuring out a 360 mapping system?

Yes, would like to hear more about the spherical projection. I'm looking into a 3 projection set up like yours. Want to project 120 degree images from inside a 35ft dome. Any help is appreciated. Thinking I could make one large movie and grab slices for each output in Arena. I could also use my 3D e...

Re: 2+ blackmagic intensity shuttles ?

Maybe the Intensity Pro with its PCIe connection directly to the motherboard would be the way to go.

Of course, a dedicated PC to mix the signals is needed. It would probably be too much for the machine to process Resolume as well.

Wondering how smoothly it connects now that it has been around a while.

Re: 2+ blackmagic intensity shuttles ?

Sorry for being a bit naive. But how are you using the blackmagic intensity cards anyway?
Wondering if it's solely for capture, input cameras, will they mix HD video for outputing?

Thanks!
