Sometimes there isn't enough time to reencode files. Like when they are handed to you less than an hour before a set.sleepytom wrote:why don't you just rename the files? or better still reencode them to something less shitty and more suited to VJing?

Re: Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K to Resolume
Resolume has a few settings for that source. We are using one presently. Make sure the source matches (HDMI or whichever one you are using for input) and make sure the screen resolution and refresh rate match.

Composition may be a little tricky. We are still working out all of the kinks.

Re: Advice for hardware setup to display 11 outputs

Redid the setup with just the most recent 358 driver. Set the power setting to maximum performance and all is well. V-sync enabled.

Re: 10x 1024x768 output with 2x Nvidia nvs 810
"Distributing loads" sound good on paper, when thinking from a human point of view. The only thing better than one powerful card has to be two powerful cards, right? From the computer's point of view, forcing the computer to split the load and it then having to work out which GPU has to do what ...

so my thought about this is that i will put 5 beamers on each card.
This way the load would be evenly spread over the two cards, at least this is what i think.
Sounds nice in theory but Resolume only uses the processing power of one graphics card. I hope further down the line they come up with a ...

Re: Resolution issue

Re: Windows 10 + GTX 980
I haven't noticed an issue yet, however, I did plan on re-enabling it and drilling down to the issue. I think it is the NVIDIA driver that was the primary culprit. Disabling Thread Optimization and setting the power option to maximum performance should be the only two things I would also turn off.
