Re: DV Codec / Converting

is it worth converting to DXV if my files are now all indeo? has someone done this and recommends it because of noticeable difference in performance? According to the other posts, converting to DXV is useful if you are working at high resolutions (above 640 x 480) but does not make much difference ...

Re: Frame drop when changing decks

I get slowdowns to as slow as 3fps on many different operations, including changing decks. Sometimes I get slowdowns when I simply select a new clip to play. I am on windows vista x64.

Re: missing clips

Hi, in addition to the crash e-mail I sent you earlier I am have also found that clips have started to disappear from previously saved decks. Even after a restart they do not re-appear. I am sorry to sound negative after all your hard work, but the latest release feels like a bit of a step backward...

Re: DV Codec / Converting

You can do all your conversion with the freeware program VIRTUALDUB. The codec you should use is either the new quicktime DXV codec from Resolume, or the Indeo video codec 5.10 for avi which is also free. You can search for these on the internet, or if you have problems, send me a message. Doing bat...

[64 Bit Vista] Version 3.00 much more unstable

I did a gig last night with the new release, and had many more problems than with the beta version. The program crashed 3 times during the evening, at one point it stopped recognizing the camera input, and the stuttering and slowdowns were much more pronounced than before. Simply selecting a new cli...

Re: Resolume Avenue 3 released

Congratulations on the official release version! Great job guys! There are lots of very cool enhancements, notably some of the great new effects. I also am glad about the fixes to the various glitches. Unfortunately, I am using Vista X64 and still have stuttering problems, playback slowdowns etc. Wh...

Sequencer and other stuff

I would love to see a sequencer capable of automatically going to different columns. There are times when a stand-alone presentation would be very useful. Also, I would like to be able to set the layer blends at the column level, to allow me to set up different presets. Maybe this could work like th...

composition forgets saved deck placement

When I am preparing for a live performance, I create my decks for the different sets, e.g. SET 1, SET 2, SET 3 etc. Then I save the composition with them in a specific order. When i quit Resolume, the next time I start up, the decks do not load the way I saved them, and there are a number of empty d...
