Re: organizing decks

Just to mention I miss
the bounce button, wich changes directly from 100% to 0% and controls the opacity of a layer
too.

Is it on the todolist?

Regards

Re: DXV rendering: perenity / auto-constrast?

Hi again, please forget about my last post: I don't thing there is something to look at with the monitor/preview brightness difference. I was using a test composition based on the "demo" composition, which has a few "composition effects" set up. The second "Contrast-Brightne...

Re: DXV rendering: perenity / auto-constrast?

Hi there, More input on this "DXV Brightness" subject. [But before let me just say: you Resolume guys are crazy: I just made a few test with 1080 DXV mov files: I have been able to mix 3 of them (did not test with more) with Luma-key composition, resizing, synced with bmp, etc.: The ouptut...

Re: DXV rendering: perenity / auto-constrast?

Thanks all for investigating. Interestingly enough, I did not notice a relevant brightness difference when encoding with DivX (with high quality setting). However, as far as I know, DivX does look at temporal redundancies, right? If DXV looks at temporal redundancies, it does it quite well! Indeed, ...

Re: DXV rendering: perenity / auto-constrast?

Hi Edwin, thanks a lot for your prompt reply. the next update of the DXV codec will support a full Alpha channel. Wow, supergreat! I'll look forward for it! Regarding the wishlist for DXV, I would say that it would be great if DXV was not so tight with .mov and QuickTime. I am exclusively under MS W...

DXV rendering: perenity / auto-constrast?

Hi there, I am just wondering: I use Sony Vegas to edit video and then render them to clips for use with Resolume3. Even for 640x480 clips I decided to switch to DXV, since quality seems to be great, and I really see a FPS increase on my system. Ok, great. I have 2 questions for the Resolume Team: 1...

Re: Resolume 3.0.1 Released

Hi there, On windows XP SP3, latest Resolume also crahes evertime I quit the program with one file playing. To reproduce it, I just have to open Resolume / click on any clip thumbnail, click on the x window button, say OK to "would you like to exit", then I got the error reporting sutff fr...

Re: Much lower framerate for same clip compared to 2.41

Hi there, just a new follow-up regarding this thread. I wanted to inform you that my problem was indeed related directly to my video hardware (and only to it). I recently tried another video card, based on the Nvidia 6800GS chip. I didn't understand everthing, honestly, but a friend told me that eve...

Re: Much lower framerate for same clip compared to 2.41

Hi, I am following up on my last post. I definitely observe what I described, not matter what I try (I tried the PICVideo codec for instance): if I am using blend modes (and I would liek very much to) the frame rate is unusable (as low as 7-8 fr/sec) with Resolume 3. The same video played with Resol...

Re: Much lower framerate for same clip compared to 2.41

Hi, Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I am using Windows XP SP3 (32bit), not Vista. My system has a Core2 Duo, 4Gb of Ram, and not so slow hard drives. I don't think the problem might be related to hard drives, anyway. It might be related to my graphic cards, I don't know. I have 2 decently recent...
