Freeze when applying effects opacity from 0%

With an effect applied to a clip and set to 0%, a freeze occurs for a split second when increasing the opacity via midi or slider.
The issue doesn't do it again unless you let it sit for 30secs - 1min.
i.e Mirror effect

Comp size - 5536x4375
clip size - 1920x1080 @200%
PC 1080ti - 25% utilization

Re: New Windows 10 Change Resolution Practices

Are you sure your not experiencing an edid situation? If you are sending sdi, what was in between your output and cable?
Some adapters hold edid, which will cause what you were experiencing. By switching to a supported and detected resolution, you are forcing the edid.

Re: Adobe 2018 April kills DXV

Confirmed AE 15.0.1 is the last version to render DXV3. I tried to update to the latest AE and Premiere and downgrading the Media Encoder only with the same results.
When you update AE, it kills the support even on the older versions of AME.

Adobe 2018 April kills DXV

Adobe dropped support for their April updates. You can no longer render out DXV3. Avoid if you eat with AE. I did not see a way to revert back to a previous install as before from the Creative Cloud app. I reinstalled a previous version of AE from local storage, and all is well again. Screen Shot 20...

Re: DXV codec not working in Adobe Oct 2017 updates

hi! this discussion is a few months old but yesterday the new updates for after effects and premiere came out and now it seems that dxv-support has ended. on my computer i can't import any dxv-files into premiere or after effects anymore and - what's even more annoying - i can't export dxv-files an...

Re: 14 Projectors set up for 360º installation

Setting the 1080ti outputs via DP to 7680x2160@60 As I wrote in my previous post, you'll have to limit your refresh rate to 7680x2160@30 to do this. 7680x2160@30 is comparable to 4K@60 and works no problems. Then you can use the FX4 to get 4 @ 1080P60 outputs per unit. Thanks for the info, I missed...
