Re: 14 Projectors set up for 360º installation

Hey Oaktown! Question for you: Setting up 4x Fx4 units, 2x display port to 2x Fx4, then looping out to an additional Fx4 on each unit. Setting the 1080ti outputs via DP to 7680x2160@60 Do you have experience with frame rates for this setup? Do you know the pixel per second limit? Thanks in advance!

Re: Scrolling horizontally with mousewheel

following feature would be nice:

By clicking the middle mouse button you toggle between vertical and horizontal deck scrolling.

What do you think?

Best wishes

I have a mouse wheel that clicks to the left and right and scrolls that direction.

Re: Video latency.

Have you tried with a TB3 to TB2 adapter paired with a regular miniDP to HDMI cable? Thats a lot of dongles. I figured the conversion to HDMI is just flaky. Worked ok on a couple out of several different brand monitors. USB to HDMI also eats a lot of performance from the CPU, thunderbolt3 to HDMI i...

2017macbook= garbage

Well, it is official. Thunderbolt3 adapter has same results. Too much latency. I have one last try with a display port cable from type c. Should be here tomorrow.

Re: Video latency.

Ok, so its definitely not the TV. USB C is the only option on the new macBooks This one says it's thunderbolt 3 and supports 2x 4k @60hz: http://www.sonnettech.com/product/thunderbolt3-to-dual-hdmi-adapter.html or this one, they look about the same https://www.startech.com/m/AV/Converters/Video/thu...

Re: Video latency.

Thanks, this is very useful info about the HDMI adapters. These are probably USB right? I wonder how a real thunderbolt device would perform at the same resolutions. USB C is the only option on the new macBooks. This video explains it, same monitors, and its a DELL dude! HDMI port https://youtu.be/...

Re: Video latency.

Do you see this latency with other displays too? I imagine that TV needs to do more processing at 4k resolutions. Would be really strange if the HDMI output of the dongles would introduce that much latency by themselves, that would be around 10 4k frames that would be stuck somewhere between the GP...

Re: Video latency.

Well I figured it out, somewhat..... Take a look at the video. This happens when the output on these Macs are set to 30hz. When set to 60hz, the output is synced. This is an issue for me when I only have a 4k@30 option with these machines. The latency is only 200-300ms, but that enough to throw lip ...

Re: Video latency.

The adapter came in. It is by far the best quality adapter I have and it was the cheapest. The latency is still there. I had the time to do a proper test down to the frame for each application of Playback. My previous observations were wrong. The entire system has latency on the outputs. I would avo...
