Re: Hauppauge ImpactVCB-PCIe Capture Card

Boy now i feel like a turkey, all I had to do was disable "winTV server" from the start menu. I guess it was a software update for the card that was the issue. Well, maybe this will help someone else out there. :D

Hauppauge ImpactVCB-PCIe Capture Card

Hello, I have a super basic capture card on my one machine, The Hauppauge ImpactVCB-PCIe. My issue is I haven't used it in some time and it is no longer working in Resolume. When I first set it up, it worked great, I didn't need to do any tweaking to get it to work. Now it shows up as a source but o...

Re: What material do you use for projection?

Thats far out! I live two blocks away, and I have done a a whole lot of gigs there, my homies who I assist with projections aren't big spenders, so I only ever use my 7 and 4k's there, VER rental prices make it pretty much impossible for me to make a profit off renting barcos and doing their events....

Re: Help Migrating from Arkaos Media Master?

I was brought in to save the day for a show in Colorado Springs for the USOC. They had a 3D mapped setup for their Pre Olympics meeting that supposed to be done with an Arkaos system. The brand new Arkaos system, failed during setup, (playback issues, crashes). They ordered another one from a rental...

Re: Trying to build PC tower for AV events

My setup is on the cheaper side, mostly because I don't have a lot of money! But I can tell you it works. I use a single capture card with an Image Pro HD input into it. One nice thing for mulit camera setups is that you can use a single switching source and preview your sources before you even send...

Re: Projector Projection Area

factory reset, then focus your projo with an internal grid/pattern(this will show your the full raster of the projo, then send it a grid from your resolume machine, I load one in and "scale to fit comp. alternatively, use the resolume test card since it is scaled. lastly, if the factory reset d...

Re: Question about activation. . .

Dan, you can "deactivate" and "reactivate" as much as you like, I transfer my license sometimes if I am doing a simple setup and I want to use a laptop, and then transfer it back to my main rig when doing larger setups. hope this helps.

projector purchase advice

Hey all beamerheads, I looking for a little advice. I am looking into buying 3 budget projectors. I have the option for a slightly cheaper 3500 lumes XGA projector, or a slightly more expensive 3000 lumens WXGA, what would you do? I am thinking get the extra brightness...but I am uncertain about the...
