all you do is come out of your computers video card.. VIDEO OUT and into your Camcorder VIDEO-IN.. best done via a Video Mixer which has multiple OUTS, because youll need more than one if Your VJing live and also wanting to record to your cam... otherwise just come out of your videocard and into res...

I now run a QUAD core cpu with 10,000 rpm HDDS in RAID and the record function although still not perfect is much better... less dropped frames and useable.

finally made it to this thread and wow man. Gr8 initiative is an understatement !

My schedule is crazy though and im struggling to pump out all my contracted work whilst balancing my day job. I dont have a minute to scratch my ass !

im wondering if its because Resolume needs a faster CPU and HDD.

old bug, no fix mate.. best to record out using an external device.. dv cam or external dvd recoder then recapture into resolume.. if thats what really required.

sure the newer technology 7200 HDDS have taken a bit of the shine away from the Rapters but that's why you run them in RAID with a good harware controller to reclaim the difference

but yeah things like this a stupendoulsy expensive.. ah well

definately CPU and then Hard drives followed by RAM. That's the order i'd say.

GFX doesnt matter as long as you have the outputs you need.
