Re: Input Device Benchmarks

Magewell XI100DSUB-SDI
USB 2nd gen white aluminium version with SDI input
6-7 frames at 60 fps (0,1-0,12 sec).
Same numbers for Blackmagic Decklink mini recorder 4k.
Nice hardware.
Everybody wanders for datapath numbers.

FX4-Sdi
Or FX4-HX4+Converter HDMI to SDI on each output (around 40$ each)

Output delay on different Video Cards

Hi everyone.
It feels like i am having bigger delay using RTX2060 card, than using GTX1080 (different systems). V sync is off.
Is it just my RTX system, of different videocards have different output delay?

Re: Resolume and Black Magic Design UltraStudio 4k Extreme 3

Check Blackmagic configuration in desktop video setup, is can be configured as quad-link, so all 4 connectors are used just for single input.

Re: Input Device Benchmarks

AJA U-tap HDMI ~constant at 6 frames at 1920p60 (100 ms).
Magewell USB Capture HDMI Plus - average 10 frames at 1920p60 (167 ms). Not constant - 8-12 frames on different shots. Dropped frames (color bars in captured video).

Re: Arena 6 - Micro ATX build

Also with this setup you can go even MiniITX, just one 4.x riser is needed.

Re: Arena 6 - Micro ATX build

Remember, in LGA1151 systems chipset is connected to the CPU with DMI connection which is equivalent to only 4 pci-e 3.0 lanes. This bandwidth is shared for PCI-e capture, content m.2 SSD, Sata devices and all your USB ports. So this connection will become bottleneck for very basic configuration lik...

Re: Build server with a lots of output (18 output)

I will advise against multi-cpu machines. Very often just filling second cpu socket means 15% performance drop. And clocks for this xeons are too low. These machines are good as render farms, but poor as content creation and delivery powerhorses. Also, Xeon are must if you need tons of memory like 5...

Re: Recommend Display port 4k 60Hz HDbaseT Extender

Ok, it was just a matter of time. Now there are Gefen and Lindy optical extenders, they finally supports 4k 60Hz Display port. Very expensive - but it is also a matter of time  http://www.gefen.com/product/4k-600-mhz-displayport-extender-over-one-sc-terminated-fiber-optic-cable-EXT-DP-4K600-1SC...
