That´s very cool.

I don´t need FFT anyway, as i always thought, it didn´t help me out to really get the groove out of a track. I like bpm-based sequencing best when it comes to syncing to music.

Which Actionscript- Version will be supported then? AS2 or AS3? And how about flv- playback via swf- container (be it embedded or linked)? So much questions, phew.....

But as always (well I don´t really expect an answer this time, but it´s always worth a try ;) ) i would like to ask, if we can expect the flash- enabled release more like in days, weeks or month. Not that i want to press you guys, but just to have kind of a date to look forward to.

Cheers, cznickesz

Oh wow - no FFT for flash - this would be a real shame from my point of view - FFT data in AS3 readable format would be killer - I would even help with flash classes/beta testing to make this possible. The reason - completely non linear random sound reactive visuals which is the direction I want to see my visual work going in. FFT is hugely complex - if RESOLUME could handle this natively the possibilities of what could happen with this Software are limitless... it is the one thing I was really waiting to see.

Please RESOLUME - try to get to the bottom of the overheads ... :geek:

Another reason why this feature is key - is because of the limits placed on the sound classes in Flash - ie - you can only obtain the sound spectrum data from sound files directly loaded into the flash. It would create an inflexibility to do this with all sound reactive flash files and then you would lose the awesome abilities of the new resolume to tweak the sound via VST ... please please please bring back FFT !!!

Waiting to [SEE] what happens.

Hironux, you can unlock the beta with the password you got in the preferences window.
Go to registration and enter your serial.

Hi guys,

I've searched the forum for this Q, but no results,
so I hope no one has asked many times before...

anyhoo, great to see Avenue and its potential for AV performance
however I cant find a feature for monitoring (audio preview)

for example, with Ableton Live and Tractor,
if you've got an external sound card on your laptop,
you can listen to the next sound you are cueuing up
before playing it live to the audience.

is that not possible with Avenue?

thanks for the feedback, Oli
