I'm in midst of a move so can't test much, just got it installed on desktop (XP) and laptop (macbook - late 2008 unibody model 2ghz - 10.5.6) and did some basic tests with some QT files on the mac. I noted only one weird thing in that I couldn't load/drag clips to some cells in the matrix. It simply wouldn't highlight that cell as a location you can copy into.

More after the weekend when i'm unpacked.

Was very pleased to see some more effects (thanks Dan!) and the audio analysis.

Thanks for the hard work and lost sleep guys!

:) I hope it's some stupid thing I overlooked but....

I'm experiencing the same anoying recording error again with the new release.... Recording doesn't work!
Yesterday it worked after I installed Resolume 3.0.0 and after I reinstalled quicktime (latest).. But now.. I just started Resolume and it won't record.. :(

Does anyone experience this same problem? Every now and then while pressing the record button it save 1 frame or it creates a column.. but it's not consistent.. sometimes nothing happens...

Is there a possibilty the 2 versions (latest beta and this new version) conflict with each other? It's in a different folder, but maybe something in the registry?

[edit] CRAZY enough... after starting the latest Beta now.... recording works again?!?

My record is still out too, I think these last few bugs are going to be dealt with with an update very quickly, I guess the Resolume team didn't want to hold back the release for a bug that's only effecting a few of us, which is fair enough. it could be a genuine mistake on their part though, as it is listed as fixed.

GRRRRR the record bug is so annoying... we have never been able to reproduce it. For most people it's actually fixed by installing the very latest verison of QuickTime (7.6): http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ (no need to have pro)

Could you also set the record directory to a different directory in the preferences? Perhaps that helps?

Please send me the log file that Avenue creates on your computer:
MAC: /Users/[username]/Library/Logs/Resolume Avenue 3 log.txt
PC: C:/Documents and Settings/[username]/Application Data/Resolume/Resolume Avenue 3 log.txt

We have added some more messages to the log file so hopefully that will show us what is going wrong.

when we have bought the beta version 3, it's possible to download and put this new version and the new codec for free ?
It's cool about those layers that were not recording what we program...
great soft...
