Advanced output

Post by adrian1971 »

Hi !
I have a problem like this:
Advance output.
No matter what I choose in the input selection, the output shows the same picture.
Only my laptop is affected by this, all other computers work correctly.
DELL E7440, Intel HD4400, Windows 10, all drivers are up to date.
Does somebody has any idea ?

Could be because the Intel HD4400 doesn't meet the minimum specs

The test card overrides textures so this could be a special case with the card only.
Do you also see the wrong cut with regular content played in your composition?

Hello Zoltan,
yes with regular content it is exactly the same. HD4400 doesn't meet the minimum requirements, but it's not about performance. I only use the laptop for programming. I have even older computers on the Resolume worked fine.

Yeah, but when your card doing something weired and is just make some crap with resolume becouse it cant handle the tasks send to it then its just like that.

Its not about "power" in generall but about if the card is able to do it correct at all. There are may some old cards getting the correct anwser (but very slow) and some newer cards misscalculating but are very fast ;)

Indeed, not supported can also mean that your GPU can't do something specific in openGL, or does it wrong.

A driver update could help maybe, but using a recent dedicated GPU would be recommended.

Resolume Update 6.1.5 fixes the problem. Strange...
Isn't the hardware the cause?

Or maybe you have newer drivers with a windows update?

Version 6 uses openGL 3, v7 needs openGL 4.
Also Resolume needs a dedicated GPU to work with: https://resolume.com/software/specs
