Show movies with Arena 6

Post by lamatastisch »

I have to show movies (1,5 to 2h) with Arena 6 and the video jumps. With shorter clips I never had a problem. Currently the movies are in mp4 containers. What can I do?

Thanks!

Decode them into dxv ;) or prores codec.

Other way would be to use vlc mediaplayer and route the output with ndi inside arena.

yes it is....dxv files are bigger becouse on so hard compressed...

Best results in stability you get wiht dxv or prores codec inside a .mov container.

when you dont want to have such huge files, or not the time to recode the videos then the best solution would be to stream it into resolum with an external player (vlc / ndi )
