NVENC error when trying to record video with OBS

Post by Maurice »

I am trying to use OBS to record Resolume output but when I press "start recording" I get an error message [ NVENC Error:init_encoder:nvEncGetEncoderPresetConfigfailed:IS9NV_ERR_INVALID_VERSION)

All drivers are up to date as is Windows 10. Any idea as to how to resolve this please?

Cheers, Maurice

Sounds like an OBS issue, try switching to software/CPU encode.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch
