Favorites Folder is not shown

I marked a folder with the heart icon as a favorite, but the Favorites folder is greyed out, the favorites are not shown. What am I doing wrong?

You've marked your E: drive as favorite
If you'd like to mark the Hall of fate, double click on it, so it's the highest level folder shown, and then click the heart icon.
