Ableton c3 = c0 in Resolume ?

Post by odddrhythm »

I noticed that when I'm using Edit Composition Midi Map that midi notes in Ableton are recognized in resolume but shifted down 3 octaves.....a c3 note in ableton gets recognized as a c0 note in Resolume. Am I doing something wrong? It's no big deal I guess, since I can still build my midi map, but it seems like they should match.

thanks
m

this is a surprisingly common occurance across software and even hardware ( ive been using sequencing and music hardware for nearly 20 years ). just work out what the offset is and work with it.
