when i use R1.5 for a long time, my CPU goes to 100%
what can i do about that?

that is very strange...
i already test Resolume in lower specs PC's and never happen that :(
don't you have any software/service running in background ?

but how can i know which processes i can shut down and which are necessay?

why don't you try to start with a clean machine without nothing installed beside resolume ?!

i use my computer for other stuff besides Resolume.
But before my (first) gig, 20/11, I'll clean my computer as much as I can.

i always make a fresh installation of windowz (in a separated particion) and the software that i need for the gig before.
that way i'm always sure that i don't have any last minute suprise on software conflits

there was a post a long time ago about this...
the answer was that like other progs, like games, the cpu usage is always 100% this is to keep resolume realtime.
i gues if u really want to multitask on the vj comp u should run the other programs first and than start resolume...
