Previsualisation / Planning Tool for Installation - recommendations?

Hello

I was wondering wether there is a software for media / video installation previsualisation, i.e. for planning the later installation. Something intuitive like frame forge, but more optimized for video art.

I use WYSIWYG. From Cast. You can create surfaces and add NDI sources to them.

Thanks for the tips.

I also made some further research, anybody using "sketchup" or "shapr3d" (on Ipad). To have a tool on the ipad would be amazing.

2 different tools. sketchup is how you build you environment, capture and wysywig and ma3d is what plays back your lighting and video in those environments.

Capture Student 2019 allows NDI inputs to be used as textures and its free!

The paid version allows projectors. And it costs money!

Also accepts ArtNet.

Luckily I use it for my normal work! Luckier still I don’t pay for it myself!

For static renders I prefer to use SketchUp. Just export a png from Resolume to attach in my model. Still hoping that somebody will come up with a symphony texture plugin for SketchUp!
