Downgrade when purchasing latest build

Post by morymb »

Is it possible to run an older version like 6 when you purchase a license for 7, water/robot voice free?

I want to have the option for Alex May feedback plugin but dig the newest features, too.

Licenses only work with the version they are for, so it's not possible to run Resolume 6 with a 7 license.

Thanks for the reply.

How about if I buy a license for 6, and then upgrade to a 7? Not to sound thick in the head but, any idea of the upgrade price to 7 from 6?

I will assume that with separate licences I can run both on the same system with no conflicts.

Running Resolume 6 and 7 at the same time on the same machine is not supported behavior, though you might be able to get it to work.
Resolume 6 and 7 use separate setting folders, so you can have them installed side by side without issues.

Ok great thanks so much!
I am planning on using them at different times for certain exclusive tasks, so I won't tempt any problems lol.

I wanted to ask, I know this is a billing question but I figure I'm here,..the price for v6...any idea the difference to upgrade to 7, or would they be full priced exclusive purchases?

I know v7 is around $340 usd

Upgrades are discounted.
The price depends on what kind of license for how many computers you'd upgrade to which version.
You can find your upgrade options after logging in to your account and clicking the Upgrade button below your serial number.
