win 98 se is much slower for resolume.
im a midi man...and the midi mapping i had for 2000 working fell over in 98se!
midi is a slow protocol anyway...but i cant wait to get xp crankin and not have to deal with as many crashes!

win98 cannot use over 512 mb properly
2000 and xp can
so 600 mb in 98 will just slow your compie down.
your second card has to be in the FIRST pci-slot to work

me keep getting error 10 in win xp as well when trying dual monitor - in all combinations of 1xvodoo3pci 1x ATI rage pro 8mb pci 1xvoodoo3AGP 1xgeforce256DDRagp and always pci in slot 1 .... and xp installs and recognizes drivers, and will work with any one of them as a primary card??? it said somthing in winxp help about setting the second card to disable VGA using hardware jumpers?? but nither my voodoo nor ATI have any jumpers.. who tests this stuff?? (AMD1000, 512MB, 60GB) any idears anyone???

I have heard something that the location of your pci card matters, I think it says something about that in WinXP help. (I haven't tried it, by the time I found out I allready installed Win98 again)

resolume does play the sound and music in flashfiles of mine but slows down terrible:)
and yes it has to be in the first pci-slot.
I bought a hercules 8500LE and it works fine
did two evenings with it and for the price it's really ok.
so maybe that's something
