decrypt .fff files

Post by Rincevent »

Hello,

why do you store the decks, prefs etc in NON editable .fff files ?

I think it would be so much better to store them in clearly-readable plain text, especially for the decks .

Right now if I prepare a deck I better never move the clips on the HDD or I'll screw my deck, it would be so easy to open "mydeck.fff" and to replace "c:\files\myClips" by "c:\myClips" for exemple

also for the shortcuts it would be easier i think if we have something like :

"
play=l
pause=k
backward=j
another_command=
"
You only have to check that no key is used twice.

well it's more important for the decks anyway.

cheers.

P.S. Santa do'nt forget us, give us a Resolume before xmas please...

I agree with Rincevent,
it´s more easy and fast to edit the preferences directly.

Well... I understand your position but I get a little bit frustrated of you always answering "we don't know when" and not giving us infos on let's say the 15th november V2 final planned release that we still wait...
(I hope this doesn't sound too rude)

I know, I'm a walking paradox :D

I just have to express what I feel, I try to stay nice and polite but I feel the obligation to apologise every 2-3 sentence because I know I have a rude manner to express my opinions, already in French and maybe even more in English.
