SLAVE button for panoramic projection

Post by megacrash »

this request would be a simple but groundbreaking feature for mostly all of us trying to do panoramic projections:

it works like: you take a network of 'n' computers. you set up a master computer, all the other computers on the network are the slave ones, doing exactly the same as the master - e.g. starting clips, transitions effects etc. you need to crop your footage and configure the decks as your beamers are set up, and...voila - you can project hi-quality panoramic images on multiple computers with multiple copies of resolume, easier than ever.

well if you are trigering by midi you can get a midi split box so the same midi signal is sent to all of them.

yes but why would i rely on midi triggering if it would be much easier from the program itself? (not to mention latency and that laptops don't have regular midi connection)

well at this point in time it is not easier to rely on the program.

there is a midi out feature for resolume being coded (i think) and you can send midi over lan, so i would say that would be your best bet.

that would be cool!

one more question, you think they're gonna code it or you know exactly it's being coded:)
