macro recording of 'keys pressed' for playback

Post by dreamtk »

Firstly i'm bloody happy to say (sorry for swearing :P) that since 2.2 i havn't had a crash yet.

Okay....

I'd love MACRO RECORDING of keys pressed for later playback. all my keys are effects both MIDI and KEYBOARD.

This way you vould experiment in studio enviroment and compose fast cuts/effects... ect.. ect... and save your favourite combinations...

will just make us even more ORGANISED :)

Any thoughts ?

Sounds cool, but you almost would need a NLE timeline, for tuning the keys pressed. and fine tuning your 'recorded' show. You could always do it as. DJ Traktor Studio does it, with DUB-mode. Ah well, sounds awesome! For sure if you add BPM, so you can apply it to different speeds of music.

word Sense ! :)

okay that's 2 of us who like the idea. Get to it Bart. LOL :)

It never really ends with wanting more features, but the truth is I'm happy as the program is now, anything extra would just be icing on the cake.

I know i'm getting repetitive.. but just wanna say again.. THANKYOU !

My workaround, although not the cheapest for this, is to use an external midi sequencer. I have a yamaha rm1x which works perfectly for this. I just record all my keystrokes, and can even match the bpm before playback.
