Save state of screens and MIDI

Post by gpvillamil »

It would be nice if Resolume could save the state of the screen setup and MIDI devices.

Righg now when I start Resolume, I need to go to the screen setup page and start fullscreen on the output monitor.

Then I need to go to the MIDI preferences and disable the MIDI devices I won't use. This implies a delay - on my system disconnecting a MIDI port in Resolume seems to take some time. I do this because I am using MIDIOX to run input from hardware MIDI devices into a virtual MIDI port, and if I don't disable the actual hardware MIDI ports, then multiple conflicting signals come in. (eg MIDIOX reverses the sense of an incoming controller, and sends it to the virtual port. however, if I don't disable the physical port, Resolume 'hears' the original MIDI signal + the transformed signal.)

So it would be nice if Resolume remembered how screens and MIDI devices were set up.
