I think it would be super handy if you could right-click on clips or effects and be able to duplicate them.

This is possible...
I´m pretty sure there is a Copy option when you right click.
the quick way i use is hold contr. and drag n drop the clip to the slot.
with contr it copys / without it moves

On mac you can use ALT + drag to copy, on windows it's Control + drag.

Something similar to the Paste attributes feature in adobe premiere would be great!

Yeah, like that, but you can't choose which effects to paste in Resolume.
