take a look at this player from numark, not rly sure if it scratches though... but hey it is WAYYYY cheaper than the DVJ's 1000

We bought a few of them. In fact they're just ordinary dvd players, you can't scratch with them, only adapting the speed.

If you wan't to use them as ordinary dvd players they are ok, but for 'real dvd VJ' work you can't use them I think.

so...is this a key feature??? can tesolume developers do smthg? could be next step or still too early?

and is still such a complicated tecnology to deveop a machine that can scratch dvd? why only pioneers did it?? the market is growing!!

and now you can find and buy lot of stuff on dvd, not like 3-4 years ago that file sharing and decdicated servers was the way..

so u just suggest to use Virtual DJ, a different software...but my suggestion was to implement this feature also in resolume ..)

Technically you can “scratch” the video in resolume. But that’s it. Resolume does not support sound, (I hope that it does sometime soon, hint, hint.) but with a controller like the BCD2000 or the one for Motion Dive you can set up the jog wheels to the video playhead and set up a fader and you’ve got you’ve got video scratching. I do it all the time. :D

I have a BCF2000 and I can scratch too i Use a fader =)
