CMD LC-1 global brightness

Post by justints »

I am in the process of putting together a little patch to provide the CMD LC-1 with some feedback to trigger the various color LEDs using Bome's Midi Translator.

So far so good - it involves taking the midi velocity that resolume outputs (127 for active, 0 for inactive) and mapping that to the velocity for the colors on the controller: IE 01 for blue on the status keys or 01 for green on the clip keys.

One thing I am missing, however, is the midi event to change the global brightness. There are two states on the controller - bright and dim. I cannot find the event to trigger this for the life of me.

Does anyone have an idea of what this would be?

- J

Behringer tech support helped with this. Pressing the bottome 4 buttons of any of their controllers will toggle between dim and bright.

By any chance Justints did you manage to send LED feedback to the CMD with Bome's Midi Translator ?

If so, i would love to see how you did it .
