A new rig for the summer....

Post by Yuckfou157 »

Hello VJ colleagues, with the summer festivals arriving and a lot of thrilling new projects it's time for me to spend a small fortune on a new laptop, and however I'm a fond user of Windows on a gamelaptop (my Asus G74 until now) I'm looking in all directions for a new one and I even might switch to Apple..so any pro's and cons? I'm a windows based user but doubting now...

Hey..Youfuck :)
did you already had an eye on the SCHENKER Notebook range? What about the XMG P704 LINK UK // LINK EU

The connectivity is quite good:
1 x HDMI 1.4a output port (with HDCP)
1 x Display port 1.2
1 x Mini Display port 1.2

They say that it is possible to run 3 external displays simultaneously.

Greetings

I have 2 choices at the moment...
An rMBP 15"with 1Tb SSD or the Asus G750JS with 17", 256Gb Raid HDD and 1Tb SSD and the GTM880 4Gb graphics....

and again...Mac or PC  ...if you want to use tools like Vezer or Syphon...take the apple....if not...take the pc Notebook... here you can upgrade the hardware easily when it get outdated.
