hey danger, the way i use my tablet is as a midi controller. using a program called midi tab,
http://www.tinygod.com/files/Borogove_MIDITab.zip
that will let you set diferent axis and etc to diferent midi controllers;

and maple midi, that lets you creat 4 'virtual' midi ports in your computer
http://www.marblesound.com/Maple_driver.html

when you have maple installed, run midi tab, set up the axis and etc, then set the midi out of midi tab to maple midi port 1

then run resolume, and go into the midi options, make suer maple midi port 1 is enabled, on teh same channel that you have your midi tab runing on, then you can use it the same way you use any other midi controller.

one thing i do is set the x axis as the transparency of layer 1, y axis layer 2, and the presure for layer 3, then you can tap the beat and layer 3 will fade in and out in time with the music.
