Please help. Configuring mainly for Resolume

Post by Leena »

Hello,

I am planning to build a laptop, mainly to use for Resolume and some design work. Anybody with experience of the same, please let me know what you think and suggestions if any. Thanks!
  • Chassis & Display Defiance Series: 17.3" Matte Full HD 120Hz LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
    Processor (CPU) Intel® CoreTM i7 Quad Core Processor 7700HQ (2.8GHz, 3.8GHz Turbo)
    Memory (RAM) 32GB Corsair 2133MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 16GB)
    Graphics Card NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070 - 8.0GB GDDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 12.1
1st Hard Disk 1TB SERIAL ATA III 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 32MB CACHE (7,200rpm)
    1st M.2 SSD Drive 1TB WD BlueTM 3D NAND M.2 SSD (up to 560MB/sR | 530MB/sW)
Memory Card Reader Integrated 6 in 1 Card Reader (SD /Mini SD/ SDHC / SDXC / MMC / RSMMC)
    AC Adaptor 1 x 230W AC Adaptor
Battery Defiance Series 4 Cell Lithium Ion Battery (66WH)
Power Cable 1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Thermal Paste EK-TIM ECTOTHERM THERMAL COMPOUND
And one off topic question. Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent tutorial about web scraping in vb.net or vba.All my searches https://mydataprovider.com/ so far have come up with poor results.Any suggestions most welcome.

Looks solid to me. If you're wanting to resell it later down the road, I'd move to a 2070 (should be very similar in price). But that setup should be bale to run anything you throw at it.
