Simple HDMI Mixer required or active switcher

Post by PRICKIMAGE »

Looked for a Video Mixer/Switcher thread in the hardware section here ...feel free to share link if it exists

Is there a simpler option than BLACKMAGIC ATEM MINI 4x HDMI that costs £294 inc VAT ?
Just quick cuts wanted without losing active connection

Have tried a few cheap powered switches...keen to try more with suggestions
Cameras go to sleep after 30mins if the connection is not active

Already have the ATEM MINI PRO...want to have more options with additional camera setups & multiple rooms for livestreaming

Seen the Roland V-02HD whicx hdmi & costs £500

Feel free to suggestion options
Cheers

nothing is cheaper then the Blackmagic stuff....

and as long as it work it works....

Other solution for you can be to use edid minders to keep the signal active and the cam stay awake... but then you still cant switch ;)

Also 3 Edid minders + passiv switch will end up at the same money then a active switch ;)

Hey Prick,
you may be able to hunt down a used "TV One 1T-C2-750" for around 450€. They are rock solid!
