looking for new hardware

Post by resolumeuer1962 »

Hi Guys,
now, as I bought the actual Resolume Arena and planning to use it this year the first time on stage, I need help for buying new hardware.
I am planning Projection Mapping for small weddings and birthdayparties to animate exclusive things.
I persist 2 Full HD Beamer with Wireless transmitting and they work really fine and proper. And I want to operate them with Resolume Arena, to animate Cakes from two sides and make animations on tables, similar like this ones here in the links.

The problem for me is, that I have no idea, which Laptop will be good and fast enough, to operate two Screens and the mainscreen from the laptop, to control the animation without dropouts or stuttering during the projectionmapping.

In case of the fact, that I need to operate two external Screens, the Laptop may be should have two HDMI exits (Do they exist anyway or do I have to use external adapter?). If that is not possible (till today I did not find any Laptop with 2 HDMI outs) , what to buy to use the two additional screens? HDMI is enough, I do not need 4K or something like that, cause I have only the 2 Full HD Beamer and I do not need higher resolution.

Thanks for a helping hand.

Razer, Sager, Eurocom are great options

Asus, MSI, Acer are some other brands to look at if the price from the brands above are too much.

Here are some benchmarks:
