Midi value resolves to 0 degrees?

Post by zeropoint »

Is it possible to have the 0 degree (i.e centred) value of the rotation parameters forced to correspond to a midi value of 63 or 64?

I'm firing off rotations via midi envelopes in Live and it's not possible to return the rotation to zero. It's out by 1.42 degrees.

I know...I'm a virgo.....

Thanks

Bome Midi Translator. there is a free version that has most the basic functions that might be able to remap midi values.

Thanks..but can you explain how exactly that will that work? It's the midi resolution that is the problem.....with 127 steps the midway point, which Res interprets as centred or zeroed, is 63.5....and doesn't exist, no matter how it is translated. Am I missing something?
