Add Mask to Preview with Opacity Slider with ext Preview

Post by hive8 »

This would be a great feature to have, the screens i work on are of arbitrary shape. So to add a mask to the preview would be great to line up clips without going onto the main comp output. That with a combined preview output would make life a lot easier.

Maybe not quite what you're looking for, but you can click the button labelled "Composition" in the top-left of the interface to preview the entire comp with master opacity at 0%.

Different preview options have been discussed before, but I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean with this one.

Perhaps if you described the problem you have in greater detail, we can come up with a solution?
