"Locking" slices, screens, masks in Advanced Output

Post by lightbx »

Hi all,

Please correct me if there is already a way to do this. I think it would be AWESOME to have a "lock" button for every slice/mask in Advanced Output, similar to the lock feature in the Adobe Creative Suite.

This way, once a slice is set right in place, you can "lock" it and guarantee that you will not select that item when making further adjustments (but you will still be able to see it, as opposed to when making it inactive).

The zoom in/out and undo features have already come a long way, and this could make advanced mapping much simpler.

Thoughts?

This is the single most frustrating thing when working with multiple slices/screens etc... seriously just add a locking mechanism already!

just collapse the screen, if you don't want to interact with its slices.
