Return of autopilot in right click menu

Post by Grimm90 »

Hi & happy new year Resolume team !

As i described here i really miss the autopilot setting in the context menu when right clicking on or especially multiple clips.

I often have two groups in my comp, one with screen content, one with content layers & fx's for mapping the stage or deco. One part of my workflow is to drop my AE renders in the deco mapping group, and i make little sequences of following clips :'play next', and the last one loops back or to a random other clip.

Having to click every clip individually and set it's autopilot behaviour is really time consuming and feels like a big step backwards.

I understand the context menu can't be too full, but then i don't see the use of the last "animation settings" option (not sure how its called out of my head) which was added.

I think everyone wants to reduce the time lost for repetitive technical tasks and have more time on creativity and rocking it live.

Including Comboboxes in the contextual menus is not possible currently.

As I said in the other thread, you can multi select clips, and set the auto pilot for them in the clip panel with the same mount of clicks as before, in the same time as before.
