i guess i will go for the brand(BMD) but magewell looks very good aswell.

i have this idea of creating an interactive video mapping using kinect or leapmotion so

i will give it a try with this setup (pc to mac) .

i would like to create unity or flash games and run them in a PC then use a
secondary Machine probably a Mac with resolume installed to do the mapping over structures

how would you suggest to take the pc desktop video and send it to the mac in real time ?

i mean i know its posible with ...

i used to be a flash developer so i tried to create an swf wich was going to be loaded by resolume
and the idea was to control this swf from outside resolume with another swf or "air app".

but it seems that resolume doesnt like the as3 sockets (resolume crashes when creating a socket http ), so the ...

im not sure but if you have the DXV codec installed you should be able to use it from ffmpeg

having that i would use cygwin + ffmpeg to batch convert the videos

i think kinect can give you up to 4 users ( i dont remember very well search for it )
but based on my experience the kinect covers and area of 3x5 metters so i would recommend only 2 users
you could use their "waist" "Z" position to ignore people around the 2 main users.

in my apps the kinect takes ...

that video was extremely helpful,

so i found its 16 projectors located at 120 meters of altitude ,
they said it was 300 meters away from building to projectors

all the building was covered with vinyl so the projection could be seen .

in our company we can handle productions of video ...
