ok I solved the problem. Somehow neither quicktime nor FCP could export it correctly. Although with these exports other applications had no problem working with the alpha. I simple reimported the footage in AEFX and exported it again. Not sure why that worked...

sounds like they dont have an alpha channel. when they are in the main area of avenue, do they have a black background or is it grey ( the same colour as the empty squares )

Hello,
I am having a problem using the Alpha channel. (Latest DXV codec version and Resolume installed)
I have quicktimes made from png sequences that have "direct" alpha. I convert these files to the DXV codec and the codec preserves the alpha channel just fine.
