Thanks, that script works well, with slight modification to suit my set-up - especially as I have .mov, .avi and .mpg files all in various decks.

Ubuntu does not want to open the file, unless I use a Hex editor. But I have no idea what to change with the Hex!
Will try a Mac next, if all else fails, I'll just copy the clips back onto the laptop for performance, then remove them when I need the machine for other purposes.

Thanks - I have access to a Mac, and I use Ubuntu Linux on another machine so I will try that.
I would guess that the reason the thumbnails turned grey, is because the thumbnails are encoded in the dck file, and a find/replace for c: might break the encoded image.

Hi,
I have been using my XP Pro laptop with Resolume 2.41, and eventually filled up the harddrive with clips. I decided to buy an external hard drive - something I should have done in the beginning.
Now, there is no built-in way to transfer decks, is there? I mean, if I copy everything from C ...

I really dig the timeswitch layer... infact I use it all the time...so, where oh where has it gone to in the new Resolume? I have doubled checked the new manual, which incidentally shows the (tim) option in the layers panel... but in reality it is not there any more... is there something else ...
