Re: Replace Clip doesn't preserve Opacity

Brilliant. Didn't realize that was an option. Thank you!

Re: Master Speed should affect Timeline Parameter Animation

I suppose it can work for some cases! But more often than not I am using loops, since I work primarily with live music. Animations have to be independent.

Replace Clip doesn't preserve Opacity

Not sure if this should be in Bugs or a request for New Feature, but replacing a clip by dragging a new file onto it preserves all animations, effects, etc... except for Opacity. I get that it's part of the clip properties itself, so maybe that's a distinction that makes it difficult to make this ha...

Hotkey for Custom Layouts

It would be great to be able to have a hotkey to jump between window layouts.

I find my workflow alternating between being focused on clip/layer/group parameters and being focused on how all my clips are arranged in the composition.

Thanks

Master Speed should affect Timeline Parameter Animation

As it says in the title, it would be nice if the various speed handles affected animation parameters as well. Things like animation envelopes and even auto pilots. I find that the master speed is a great way to skip through and quickly preview my composition, but if I have an auto pilot or envelope ...

Commissions and Requests: What's the best practice?

Hi all, Yes, I should learn how to use Wire more myself, but I just haven't had the time. For upcoming projects, what's the best way to request or commission a wire patch be made? I have a production budget to pay for their time. Should I just post on this forum? Has anyone had any experience with t...

Re: The Time is Now: HDR

Friends, Romans, Developers, lend me your ears. The time has come for me to switch away from Resolume. I can't tell you how heartbroken I am, and I have held out for as long as I could, but I simply can't continue to invest in a software that isn't ready to embrace what is the essential next step in...

Re: Some clips playing at double speed? Why?

Just replying to this to confirm that yes, I'm an idiot. Either I or the operator must have used the scroll wheel flippantly which caused the speed slider for one of the layers to increase. 100% my bad. However, if I could shirk responsibility, I would love to be able to disable the scroll wheel fro...

Some clips playing at double speed? Why?

Hi all, Got a puzzle for you. I have an opera that's opening tonight. A few of our clips, seemingly at random, are playing back at double speed. For example, I've attached the project file and one of the clips that is behaving like this. It was converted from mp4 to DXV in Alley. It's 30fps, and sho...
