Using AKAI APC mini controller with Resolume 7.0

Hi, I want to use the AKAI APC mini controller with Resolume 7.0 The posts on this forum are about 3 years old, so I don't know.... Are there are any current issues or problems with using this controller with Resolume 7.0? Has anyone tried mapping it with Resolume 7.0? Do I follow the instructions s...

Upgrading and Installing New Version of Resolume

Hi,
Sorry for this dumb question.
How do I upgrade and install Resolume 7.0 from 6.0?
Do I download the 7.0 version and run the setup program?
Does this overwrite the old version or can I keep running 6.0 in case there's a problem with 7.0?
Thanks for the help!

Re: stopwatch, timer, for scoreboard

OK, I have the clock app "Timer for Mac".
I will try Siphon.
Can you give me the steps needed to set up Siphon so it to take the screengrab of the "Timer for Mac" app and output it to a clip in Resolume?
Thanks for helping me figure this out!

Re: stopwatch, timer, for scoreboard

Thanks for the ideas, Scratchpole! I would be certainly be willing to try Siphon. Would it basically be doing a "screengrab" from my running clock application and feeding it to Resolume? Before I dive into that: Another approach I was thinking about would be to create a .mov file of the ru...

Re: stopwatch, timer, for scoreboard

I've been trying to figure out how to make a 12-hour "clock" using autopilot, basically where I have PNG files that serve as the digits for the clock. I'm using 5 rows in Avenue. The bottom row represents seconds (digits 0 thru 9). The next row up is "tens of seconds" (digits 0 t...

Re: stopwatch, timer, for scoreboard

Thanks for providing that link. Except it opened up more questions than it solved... I loaded the "Timer" composition. It looks promising but I can't figure out how to "start" the clips that are controlled by Autopilot. Normally, I just click on the first clip in the row and auto...

stopwatch, timer, for scoreboard

Hi, I am using Arena with a large LED display and would like someway to show a stopwatch (timer). I will use it at sporting events and races, and want to assign the stopwatch to one layer and use clips on other layers for the background. I would like the stopwatch to have basic controls like start, ...

How to Animate the Position of a Still Image?

Hi, I am needing to animate the position of still image in Arena. For example, I have a Car image and I want it to move across the screen. I really don't want to have to create the animation in After Effects (.mov) if I don't have to. Can I do this in Arena 6.0 using transform or some effect to move...
